Our Verdict
Looks like any ACH credit will work rather than it having to be payroll or government benefits. Considering it’s a soft pull, if you live in the area this is well worth doing as it’s easy to meet bonus requirements and keep the account fee free. As always please share your experiences & data points in the comments below. I’ll be adding this to the best bank bonuses.

What did the Chase Biz ACH code as? Pickle Rick
It doesn’t show in my online transactions anymore. For some reason it won’t show any transactions past 90 days, even with searching older dates.
On my statement, the description is [biz name] PAYROLL PPD [my name]. It’s just the standard ACH record fields.

Hello Gadget - Bank Bonus Geek this offer now requires 25x $10 debit card transactions. Would Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal balance reloads count as valid debit card transactions?
Cash App reloads used to work, but that was years ago. I doubt it’s changed, but I cannot say for sure. I no longer have an account. Johnson
There’s one old successful DP using Cash App, one DP of someone using Venmo (but no mention of success), and successful DPs of people using PayPal for regular payments.
Sometimes you have to be the DP you want to see. I attempted PayPal balance reloads, and they all posted with the Type as Debit Card. My bonus isn’t due until 11/8, so we’ll see if it worked then.
I did 2x CashApp $10 reloads and they posted as “Debit Card” so I think I’ll stick to that. According to customer support, you can only do max 3 per day CashApp, so I’ll just do those over the next 9 days. cc Gadget - Bank Bonus Geek
Thanks for covering the scoop. Didn’t know I was in Pickle territory.

02/02/24 BONUS 200

What DD method did you use?
I filed a tax extension and I was just gathering my 1099s. I didn’t find one from Sunflower Bank. Did they issue 1099 for 2023?
When I did this bonus in 2022 they did not send one. I even called them and they said I would not have received one
Update: Fidelity does not work as of 8/2024. Bonus did not post.
No DP on OOS in over two years. Will it work?
Monthly account fee for Foundation Checking (cheapest account fee that can be waived) increasing to $9/month starting in August. Can still be waived with $100 minimum daily balance.
Chuck William Charles
William Charles The offer has been extended to June 30, 2024, which I see you already updated. One item has been changed in the terms though that makes this offer a net loss now: Each of the 25 debit card transactions must be at least $10.
William Charles Chuck Extended to 9/30
12/07/2023: Account opened in branch with $125 opening deposit.
01/08/2024: $501 push from Fidelity brokerage account
12/27/2023-1/29/2024: 25 debit card tranactions ranging from $0.49-$1 (Amazon reloads and ChargePoint sessions)
02/02/2024: $200 bonus posts as “NEW CHECKING REWARD”
They pulled Chex, but didn’t mention it at all. They issue you a temporary debit card on the spot, which was useful because it seems my first permanent card was stolen from my mail. It was used on a few fraudulent purchases before they cleaned out the cash I pushed.
Not related to the bonus, but dealing with the dispute process now. Normal purchases were refunded after 11 days, but still waiting on ATM withdrawals and associated fees to be refunded.
Had to keep following up via phone since I was not getting updates any other way, but I did eventually get all transactions and fees refunded by March 20.
