7/24/18 Account opened with $1000 CC funding and bi-weekly employer DD $20
8/29/18 $200 bonus posted
Pretty definitive DP that either ally or capital one 360 savings worked to trigger bonus. Opened 6.25, recurring push pulls of small amounts from Cap One 360 and ally over the course of the following few months resulted in bonus 9.10.
Received bonus for account opened on 7/31, though strangely it appears as a withdrawal, but it seems to have been a positive addition to the available balance… I did 4 transfers from various accounts so not much of a data-point for what counts as DD
What amount? I’ve been doing legit $50 DD biweekly from payroll. Two deposits in and no bonus yet.
$5. First was on 7th of the month
anyone find anything other than employer DD that has worked to get the bonus?
It seems that the offer has expired. I didn’t see any promotion information on their website and got confirmed by sending them an inquiry email. William Charles
Definitely Chex sensitive as per their denial letter in the mail.
It looks to me that “TOTAL ACCESS CHECKING” is the easiest one to avoid fee, since it is completely free no matter what.
Yeah, what gives Doc? I had already app’d and been approved for the non-fee-free BASIC checking based on the above post. May want to edit this?
We have now, thanks.
Also, the Basic checking has a $5.95 monthly fee for billpay. Repeat, billpay is NOT free. Do your research! Do not trust in post blindly.
The Total Access Checking I opened didn’t have a fee for the billpay but there was a $5 dollar fee to transfer to an external account or you can do express for $10 dollars. Highest transfer fee I’ve seen. Even BOA was “only” $3. Looks like I’ll be getting the money out of this account exclusively through billpay.
Thanks, updated post.
Just be aware of this –
“if you do not meet the requirements for three consecutive statement cycles, the bank reserves the right to convert your account to a Basic Checking account, subject to that account’s associated restrictions and fees (see account details and Fee Schedule). “
Just applied and got approved. Funded with Discover for $1000. Not seeing any pull in Credit Karma yet.
I got the bonus last week.
Applied from out of state. There is intial zip code check. Used branch zip and proceeded to app. Completed app and funded 1k on Citi DC. (Visa, MC, Discover) Passed ID check. Stated signature required to be mailed in. My direct deposit form did not have account number listed nor did i see it anywhere. Attempted online enrollment and received message app still under review. My guess is a person will make the final call tomorrow. Will follow up on results.
Thanks as always, Juicy <3.
Still cant log into account and getting “we are setting up your online account” message. CC funding did post to Citi DC dated 7/15. Called bank during operating hours and you actually get a person at a branch. Asked for CSR and was transferred to a banker i would presume. Lady said she can assist with in branch openings but marketing department is handling online openings. Not really worried about this yet but by far slowest opening ever. Funding and a $200 bonus makes it acceptable in my book.
Received certified apology letter in the mail from Clinton today. They issued a bank check to refund my CC funding from account opening. Looks like no bonus on this one ill chalk it up to 1k MS.
Thanks! Successfully opened today and funded with CSP (CA limit set to $0).
Tried to enroll in online banking but got the pending review message. Is anyone else having the same issue?
Yeah I saw the same thing. I’m assuming it just takes a couple days for the account to be fully active. Hoping that’s the case anyway.
Update: received an email earlier today that they have approved my online banking application.
Did u apply from out of state?
