So Affinity has come out with a few new Kasasa-style accounts. Has anyone tried opening any of these while already having an existing checking account with Affinity?
Customer service did say that I could do this and keep my current account as well. But I’m wondering whether they will run my Chex again. Does anyone have thoughts?
I don’t think that there’s a dedicated DoC page for any of those, so I’m asking here.
I would say the chances are high they will pull Chex again when adding a Checking account. You can try to avoid it by freezing Chex. If they don’t approve the account, I would suggest rescinding the application if not willing to get an inquiry.
