Affinityy (our referral link here and below) is a shopping portal that recently reached out to us because they thought our readers would be interested in the fact they offer cash back for credit card approvals. More on that later.

Sign Up Bonuses
- New users will receive $20 after their first purchase
- After signing up I received an additional $2 for completing a short survey (about 5 multiple choice questions) and a further $3 for adding the Affinityy button to my browser
Referral Program
Affinityy offers a referral program. When you refer a friend they will receive a $20 bonus after their first purchase. In addition you can earn up to $25. Break down is as follows:
- Earn $5 when your friend earns $5 in cash back
- Earn $5 when your friends makes their first premium purchase of $250+
- Earn $15 when your friend signs up and gets approved for a credit card
If you’d like to support the site, consider using our referral link here. You can share your own referral links in this linked post here. Do not share your links in the comments of this current post.
Payout
You can either receive your earnings from Paypal (e-mail address must match the e-mail you used to sign up) or via check. There is a $50 minimum cash out.
Credit Card Cash Back
Affinityy is offering $30 when you apply and are approved for personal credit cards found on their site and $50 for business cards. They don’t have direct links to individual cards, instead they have links to different categories on creditcards.com (e.g best sign up bonuses). You won’t be able to find all of the card bonuses you want, but you should be able to find most of them. As always make sure you do research to ensure that using the links Affinityy is offering offers the best sign up bonuses.
My understanding has always been that this type of incentive is not allowed, but Affinityy has confirmed with creditcards.com that they are compliant and recently we’ve seen more sites doing something similar (e.g Slickdeals and Credit Karma). Affinityy has also been paying out regularly now, so it seems there is no issue here.
Regular Portal
Affinityy also operates a regular shopping portal similar to Topcashback. It looks like they offer increased cash back when your purchase is above $250. They don’t look super competitive compared to other portals, I’d always recommend comparing using a site such as cashbackmonitor to make sure you’re getting the best deal.
Final Thoughts
If things go well and Affinityy does work for $50 cash back on credit card applications then this is going to be an easy extra $50 for most people on most applications. It’s just important to make sure when applying you’re getting the best deal as these types of affiliate links don’t always display the best offers. One of the things I love about not having credit card affiliate links is the fact that I can present the best offers with no bias or perception of bias.
Has anybody used Affinityy before? Let us know your experiences in the comments below. In addition it might be helpful to discuss what card offers you find, where they were found and if they are the best offer or not.
I’m quite surprised but a little transaction I put through Affinityy to get over $50 cleared yesterday and I was able to cash out $50 to PayPal. They paid promptly. Most of this cash back is from two CC applications. Now that they don’t do this anymore, there’s not much reason to use Affinityy portal but I wanted to report that they kept their word and paid out.
Throwing in another vote to stay away from this portal. They resort to alibi for not paying the high threshold CB once you reach it. Stick with portals that actually pay!
***Caution, they never logged my cash back. Even after speaking with them multiple times, account was never credited. Dont waste your time like I did!
Looks like the Credit Card part of the portal is either temporarily down or the offer is dead. Hoping it comes back
lots of DPs online saying this portal confirmed CB for CC sign up is dead.
Where to find “See Cards” link? I don’t think this “See Cards” link is available to me. I can only find “See Deals” for shopping.
See Aahz above
Same here, i used DOC link since i wanted to contribute to all the great stuff they share, but now the “See Cards” link is gone…. 🙁
I just signed up today with DOC’s link as well, and unfortunately there is no “See Cards” link anywhere.
In fact there isn’t even any mention of Credit Cards at all in the FAQs or on the Account page…
As of today, when I click on any of the “See Cards” links on the Afinityy site I get taken to a 404-style page that states – “This offer is no longer available, but you can choose from one of our top offers”
I only joined Afinityy (through DoC’s link) for the credit card bonus and now it seems like they’re gone before I could even use it 🙁
Hopefully they will be back soon, will have more information in the coming days.
The suspense is killing me – We must know!
Soon as I know, you’ll know.
Any word? Like others I signed up with your referral link but no cc offers available!
Not yet, once we know more we will share it.
I joined Afinityy through the link provided in the description on this page on December 5th early morning, and clicked through their links to CreditCards.com and immediately got approved for the amex business platinum, but haven’t received any notice from Afinityy about it.
It’s only been 5-6 days, probably takes a little longer to track than that. Haven’t heard of anybody having issues yet so would recommend just being patient for now
Made a purchase on amazon and signed up for Barclays card, but only see $20 pending for new account and first purchase.
How long does it takes to get my purchase validated, and getting the promised $30 credit for Barclays card (card was already approved, activated and used for purchases)?
Signed up with your link! Question, does a credit card app qualify as a first purchase to get the initial $20 bonus? Thanks!
Not 100% sure, but I don’t think so.
Signed up with your link. Thanks!
Signed up for CIP via Affinityy and got $50 about a week after approval. It was not instant approval (had to call in to verify ID) so wasn’t sure it would work but it did.
