• Alaska Airlines shopping portal is offering a bonus of 500 miles when you spend $150 or more from 2/5/18 through 2/11/18 at 11:59:59 pm ET

The Fine Print

• During the “Valentine’s Day Bonus” bonus campaign, which runs from 2/5/18 through 2/11/18 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will receive a one-time bonus of 500 Mileage PlanTM bonus miles on qualifying purchases, in addition to the standard Mileage PlanTM miles earned from shopping online through the Mileage PlanTM Shopping mall or from purchases made through Mileage PlanTM Shopping in-store offers.
• Eligibility for the one-time bonus requires Member to make qualifying purchases totaling $150 or more, during the Bonus Period. “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles.
• Please see the Mileage PlanTM shopping site for details on product eligibility and other restrictions. Please allow 8-10 weeks for bonus miles to post to your Mileage PlanTM shopping account.
• The maximum number of bonus miles that will be awarded to an eligible Mileage PlanTM Shopping account through the “Valentine’s Day” bonus campaign is 500 bonus miles.

Our Verdict

Slightly better than the United & American Airlines bonuses that require $200 in spend, but not by much. This Alaska bonus works out to be an extra 3.33 miles per $1 spent if you spend $150 exactly.
