Our Verdict
Nice little bonuses. Always be sure to compare rates before using.
I use the southwest portal along with Rakuten. These orders pop up frequently to top off my miles.
How can you stack the portal along with Rakuten?
Stack this with the giftcards.com deal. Tracked for me
worth it pretty much only for extending miles life if near expiration. beyond that 500 miles isn’t worth the time
Similar offer on the American Airlines portal
Added now thx
Best case scenario it takes months to post after putting in two different support tickets. It almost isn’t worth the pain dealing with them.
The last time they told me I didn’t qualify for the bonus and refused to elaborate further.
I have been doing these bonuses for the last nine months on the AA portal, and they all posted without manual intervention. For this particular bonus, I made a couple of purchases yesterday and the tracker already shows that I the spend requirement. So YMMV.
I’ve had hit or miss with these portals. One time I placed an order with Walmart that didn’t qualify. Turns out the majority of items in Walmart don’t count.
Different experience here. I double as purchase manager for my employer and nail these bonuses nearly every time for many years.
Best case scenario the bonus posts 4 – 6 weeks after end of promotion. Avoid using most online coupons at checkout. Read the small print. Sorry, Bose headphones at Bestbuy don’t qualify. Nor does tires at Walmart. My purchases track 80-90% of the time and support tickets are pretty responsive. When it doesn’t track or post usually I’m impatient, bought a non-qualifying item, or used the wrong totally ad-blocked script-blocked browser.
