It seems that Ally is no longer offering next day transfers and it’ll now take three days. Normally we wouldn’t post this on the main page but many people use Ally as a hub account.

1 day confirmed for transfer setup today. Also based on my past experience newly added accounts will be 3 days until seasoned for some time
I just had this same experience. My 10k transfer to a long time account was next day. My 10k to a newly added account was 3 days.

I just scheduled a 1 day transfer going on Monday and arriving on Tuesday. I wouldn’t give too much thought to what CSRs say; Ally customer service has gone down the tubes. Transfer started today will complete on Monday for FWIW.

Confirmed, my 3 day transfers from earlier this morning are now available as next day transfers. They definitely changed something between now and a few hours ago.
In the last few days when I looked at the transfers, it was 1 day, then 3 days (a couple of times yesterday and once early this morning). Just now it says 1 day.
Hopefully it‘s only a system glitch (and not what CSR told das1996), else many of us will say goodbye to Ally.
Same here. The CSR told me it was a bug they were working on. Seems to be fixed for me too, hopefully it stays that way.
I called into Ally to inquire. Apparently this is a new policy as of 3/26/2024. The agent did not have any information why this went into effect.
I have a few cd’s at ally, but aside from that use them occasionally to do pseudo DD for promo purposes. No real loss there. Maybe they (ally) just wants to capitalize on folks moving money who don’t know any better (about other banks offering faster services).
One day transfers appear to be back – at least at time of posting this message. Earlier this morning they were still 3 days.
are you sure this isn’t because of the holiday weekend with easter?
Set a transfer date in the future. To deliver by say 4/5. For me it shows withdrawal on 4/3 instead of 4/4 or even 4/5.
SoFi offers same day or next day transfers.
