- Amazon is offering $10 off $40+ on groceries with a registered SNAP EBT card
Our Verdict
Make sure to price compare to ensure you’re getting a good deal. EBT or Medicaid users can also get a discounted Prime membership for $5.99 per month.
If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it all in the comments.
Give a discount to those paying for groceries with money that isn’t their own. Yep…makes sense.
SNAP2510 Now 10 off 25+
Is this still live? I have $25+ in my cart with EBT selected as payment – tried to add this code and I’m getting “The promotional code you entered is not valid.”
Why spend EBT on Amazon? Everything is expensive on Amazon vs buying in grocery stores. I have one but I don’t use it and I got the 50% off Amazon but don’t even need it since my Sister added me to hers.
On most stuff you are totally correct. But there are good grocery deals if you cherry pick. I love the good belly brand peppercorns. Way cheaper than most peppercorns very good quality. The. 16oz Good Belly salad dressings are another well priced items.
Yah, Amazon brand stuff make sense, and they are cheaper.
Amazon identified undeserved markets, access to grocery stores for disabled/seniors with limited income as neither DoorDash, GrubHub, nor Uber Eats take EBT, and access to grocery stores for low-income families, as used autos and gas prices soared +40-70% higher. AmazonFresh/AmazonPantry happily accepts EBT and a servicer of undeserved markets is grateful to charge you more. If/when EBT includes childcare, subscriptions will follow for AmazonSitter and AmazonPlaypen, that or your children will be placed in the custody of Carl’s Jr.
*unserved/underserved markets.
DP: SNAP EBT cards cannot be added to business accounts, only to personal accounts.
$10 off $30 using code SNAP10, this works even if the EBT/Medicaid card hasn’t been active in a while (mine was last used before 2016 and had no balance), you can add the EBT card to more than one account and you can use any payment method for the order.

All good tips, but keep in mind this promo can only be used once per EBT card.
I am using a friend’s Medicaid card to get discounted Prime membership. Can I use another friend’s EBT card to use this offer?
Yes, I have someone else’s EBT card on my account.
Steps for how to use this offer: Add a payment method > Add an EBT card > Add your card (or enter the card number in question) > Navigate to offer link > Apply code to your account > Proceed to checkout > Remove EBT if selected as default and select payment method as gift card balance, prime card, points, etc. > “SNAP EBT offer: -$10.00” promo code remains activated.
Amazing.
A Federal Offense to share or misuse the benefit card? Or at least a County offense.
So is it worth having this on your record? Just asking.
Incorrect. Discounted prime memberships are not medical care or services that result in unnecessary cost to the Medicaid program. Please see 42 CFR § 400.200 et seq. “The maximum benefit you may receive from this offer is $10.” The $10 credits are Amazon benefits that are not the value of supplemental nutrition assistance provided by the secretary of agriculture. Please see 7 USC § 2012(d) et seq.
Most people who commit crimes don’t have a criminal record.
For folks who plan on using this promo or just in general using you EBT benefits on grocery delivery, please be considered for the delivery person and compensate him/her appropriately. While there is nothing wrong of using the benefit, order cases of water and/or heavy grocery to deliver to apartment buildings with no elevator is a d**k move. Amazon does not allow customer to put tip on the EBT card, so the delivery person basically earn nothing for deliveying EBT orders.

I applaud Amazon for this. Many people are hurting right now.
Less about doing it for the people, more about showing people that shopping with their EBT card is an option on Amazon.
Yeah, Amazon is just trying to capture the increased EBT/SNAP market. Other grocers are doing the same.
I didn’t know EBT was an option with Amazon. Thanks for sharing this!
