The Fine Print
- Customers will receive a discount of $10 off when they (1) add an eligible American Express Card to their Amazon wallet; (2) add a minimum of $10.01 in eligible products to their Amazon cart; (3) apply the promotional code at checkout; and (4) use their eligible American Express Card at checkout. The promotion will expire upon Customer’s use of the promotional code.
- The promotion will end on the earlier of (a) 5:00 PM PT on 6/30/2024, or (b) the time at which 27,500 eligible customers have redeemed the offer.
Our Verdict
Nice and easy savings. This deal is only available to some people, possibly to someone who does not have an Amex card in their Amazon account or someone who recently added an Amex card. Reader Jack was able to remove his Amex cards and get the deal when re-adding them a few months later.

It looks like it only works on certain items that are sold drectly from Amazon. I couldnt use it on certain things but was able to use it on toilet paper LOL

Worked for me and I already had an Amex BCE linked to my account.
I was targeted on the linked offer page, but had to remove my BCE and then re-add it before I could use the promo code. Didn’t even have to place a charge on the BCE, Amazon defaulted to using my gift card balance along with the promo.

I’m guessing gift cards don’t work.

I haven’t bought on Amazon in ages with my own account, but all five of my Amex no-AF cards worked! Plus, since initially I didn’t want to do it and moved away, they offered me $5 for adding another card. Not sure I’ll ever use this credit, but a free $80 is a free $80!
