Amazon & Whole Foods have announced that they will be offering free two hour delivery of Whole Foods products through Amazon Prime Now. The service will be offered in the following cities to start:
- Austin, Cincinnati, Dallas and Virginia Beach
Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods was completed on August 28th, 2017 so it’s somewhat surprising that this integration has taken so long. In November they ran discounted turkeys for Prime members at Whole Foods, but aside from that integrations and partnerships have been lacking between the two brands.
At least for Austin there’s a $20 coupon on first order when you use AMEX: AMEX20
Thanks!
amazon is going to crush it. after it starts a new bank, its game over.
As long as it has plenty of churnable cards, that’s fine.
Haha- a bank with a 4-5% savings account, no strings attached. Absolutely game over.
Suuuuuuuuure.

dont get the joke.
Maybe it was along the lines of a whimsical association of two much esteemed and appreciated figures….. one from childhood, one here in the present — guides amid the haze.
(ps, been rather “funny”/sickening seeing all the “fake” garbage of late circulating re. Mr. Rogers…. e.g., of him being a war hero (false) and all that…. and ignoring/trying to bury his extraordinary (if “simple”) acts of “revolutionary” decency and neighborliness…. miss him )
“Delivery is free for orders of $35, otherwise there is a $7.99 delivery charge.”
I think it’s that all charges have to be over $35; two-day shipping is free, one-hour shipping is $7.99
Let me fix that
err, two-*hour* shipping is free
“all charges have to be over $35”
If you somehow manage to spend less than $35 on Whole Foods products, you could always just throw in some $6 asparagus water 😉
+1 (along with your “whole wallet”)
Will be interesting to see if Amazon can pull this off — delivery of high end (& extra high priced) groceries into affluent neighborhoods — while at the same time Walmart (sic) along with the “new” and well capitalized German grocers are…. ahem, eating their lunch. I rather think this is one space Amazon will lose. BWDIK?
