Pretty easy way to get $15 free. Should be possible to use up your $60 Amazon credit from the previous Black Friday deal on gift card purchases (source). Should also stack with other deals on Amazon, like the 20%/$20 off deals, etc.

I have accumulated discounted Netflix gift cards over time. One thing that makes me never want to subscribe again is their policy if I hold a gift card balance on my Netflix account, they won’t let me cancel/pause my membership (I do this when nothing new to watch/haven’t used in awhile) until the whole gift card balance is exhausted! After I use up my gift card balance, I’m saying goodbye to Netflix forever. I can’t support a company that does this.
Ah, bummer. I wasn’t aware of that.

What happens to my Netflix Gift Card balance when I cancel my account?
Your account will be cancelled once your Netflix Gift Card balance has been completely consumed. After your cancellation request, you’ll be able to continue streaming for as many months of service as you have left on your Netflix Gift Card. Once your Netflix Gift Card balance runs out, your cancellation will be effective and you will no longer be able to stream.
thanks for the heads up. i recently purchased a lot of netflix cards bc of the discounts and realized that i haven’t used the service in months, so just canceled until there’s something interesting to watch.
That’s why I buy the $15 cards when Walgreens has their deal. Allows met to control balances. Hulu is the same way.
