- Amazon is offering $20 off $40+ in Amazon Fresh stores for Prime Day (7/12 – 7/13)
Our Verdict
Nice discount for those with a Fresh store near them.
If anyone hasn’t done this yet, check Chase offers. They just dropped a 10% for Amazon Fresh in store (max $10)
Seriously, Amazon should just buy Instacart to make services cheaper…..
This worked out great! The coupon applied before the sales so I paid $10 for $44 worth of groceries
I think it’s really YMMV. My CSR asked for the coupon at the end so it took off $20 off of $40.
I just spent $11.xx on $88 of groceries. It looks like the $20 off $40 coupons happen before all the other Prime Day discounts (e.g., B1G1 Ground Beef, $1 Strawberries, etc). The cashier had a $20 off $40 coupon on her register that she scanned, then she scanned the QR code on the store flyer so I got two of those, then it took off all the other discounts to get to the final price. Not a bad deal!
The store was kind of a mess – lots of old people that didn’t seem to understand how it worked (which is kind of fair because it’s goofy). My store doesn’t have the magic carts – just the regular ones with the cameras all over the store that you can leave without going through the cashier lines but I’m not sure how the $20 off coupons work in the case. So most folks were going through the normal checkout lines, some wanted to pay cash which apparently isn’t a thing, so it was a little slow checking out. But to save $75, I’ll take it.
Is there any limitation on Household accounts like there is for the stampcard offer?
Does this language prevent a household account (not the main account) from using, or is the household account considered a separate account from the main account? No explicit language excluding a household account.
” Limited to one redemption per customer, per account for the entirety of the promotion period”
Far as I can tell, this deal would work for household members. I’m not certain.
It works for household. Went this morning and used both mine and P2’s account. No issues.
Just got a bunch of coupons for a new store in Arlington VA that opened. Will hopefully be able to stack.
How did you get the coupons?
Unfortunately, I did not see an option to click on the new Arlington, VA store, but Franconia has the coupons in its flier.
Will be interesting to see if this be used more than once on the same day but during a different shopping trip.
It should work
Usually it would work, but the coupon in the ad seems to indicate that you have to identify being a Prime member so that “might” prevent it. But if you have a second (or more) prime member on the account, then it should work again.
This is an in store only offer. Their stores are only in a few states. Important to note the distinction since Amazon Fresh is also what they call our local delivery and many of us might not realize that Amazon has some actual stores.
In store is mentioned a couple times in the post and the QR code states in scan in store.
Though it wouldn’t surprise me if they have some sort of online deal for groceries for Prime Day.
Yeah I thought Amazon Fresh was online only but now I see 1 physical location is being built near me.
The Prime Benefit is available to all Prime members across all stores excluding stores located at 1733 14th Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20009 and 610 E Pike Street, Seattle WA 98122.
