Our Verdict
This is interesting as we’ve never seen Capital One take part in the Shop With Points promotions. I was not eligible when clicking the link; I added linked my Capital One card to Shop With Points on Amazon, and I’ll try clicking through again in a couple of days to see if the offer shows for me.
Often these Shop With Points deals work to buy third party gift cards on Amazon.com as well. We’ll add this to our full list of Shop with Points promotions and also to our main Prime Day post (updated constantly).Â

Even after activation, I can’t see the offer in Amazon, the discount doesn’t appear after applying points at check out. Did this deal dry up?? Anyone succussed today? I am confused!
shockingly this is the first one that worked for a while – but it was after i removed, re-added, and then removed again .got the offer when i didn’t even have a capital one account linked
For some reason I can’t enroll my C1 rewards account. I can add the card, can’t link the points, only get a generic “oops, some error happened” error. Did anyone had this before?
It happened once. I tried the next day and it went away.

I also enrolled 2 days ago and the activation showed up today.
Enrolled mine and p2’s vx on two separate Amazon accounts 2 days ago and offer showed up today.

I would value Capital One points at 1.5 cents each, so spending 625 points would be spending $9.38 to save $20 (max discount), you would be ahead $10 with this offer. If you value points at 2 cents each, then you are spending $12.50 to save $20… which is $7.50 savings.
This offer doesn’t look as attractive as the other spend points offers we often see where only 1 point is needed to unlock the discount.
Does this include the pay-with-points value? I think that’s another $5 worth, so you’re spending 625 points “$9.38” to save $25.(4cpp)
