Update 12/1/22: More people have been sent emails regarding this offer
Update 11/10/22: Just bumping this post since it’s working for a lot of Prime members to get a quick and easy $10 Amazon credit. Still not working for everyone though.

Hat tip to Dans Deals
Got an email with subject “You could unbox $20 for shopping on Amazon”. Details are spend $50 on eligible purchase and get $5 back to Venmo balance with a chance up to $20 total. Starts 9/1/23 and ends 12/31/23. Max 112,000 rewards available.
Same. Might try it but pretty skeptical I will see a dime.
Saw the $5 banner on the app; clicked this link, did the thing, and $10 promotional credit was available *before making the purchase*
I am a new prime member. Did not receive any email for this.
Am I eligible?
I got the email recently. Is there any DP about $100 Amazon GC? Would it trigger the credit? Thanks all!
I reloaded my Amazon gift card balance 6/14. Venmo sent me the $10 this morning 6/30.
Got email too. Bought AGC on 6/22. Received $10 on 7/6 (15 days).
FYI, when paying with Venmo on Amazon for $10 for spending $100 offer, only allows to use bank account or (real) debit card
Just got the $10 for an Amazon e-gift card purchase made when I posted above comment (so June 15)
Prime member but no language of $10 on the promo page. Just says you can link your Venmo account and that’s it *sad muppet face*
” error! This page does not exist”
of course not until AFTER verifying everything.
Just received an email for $10 off $100 when paying with Venmo.
Title: “You’re invited: Shop on Amazon, get $10 back in Venmo when you spend $100”
T&C as follows:
Eligible Participant: Open only to individuals who (1) have an existing U.S. Venmo account (“Valid Account”), (2) are residents of any one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, (3) are eighteen (18) years of age or older; and (4) receive an email or view a banner from Venmo inviting participation in the offer (“Invitation”)(eligibility for/those who receive the Rewards will be determined solely by Venmo) (“Eligible Participant”).
Offer Period: Starts December 1, 2022, at 12:00:00 a.m., and ends on December 31, 2022, at 11:59:59 p.m. PT (“Offer Period”).
How it Works: An Eligible Participant must successfully complete the following to qualify for a Reward (defined below):
Spend $100 USD or more on qualifying purchases at Amazon.com using Venmo as the sole payment method during the Offer Period (“Qualifying Transactions”).
Once the Qualifying Transactions have been completed and verified by Venmo, Eligible Participants will earn $10 USD (“Reward”). The Reward will be added to your Venmo account balance within thirty (30) days after the Qualifying Transactions are completed and verified by Venmo but may be available sooner. There are only 200,000 Rewards available during the Offer Period; Rewards will no longer be available once the limit is reached. There is a limit of one (1) Rewards (max $10 USD) per Valid Account.
I also received this email yesterday—after previously taking advantage of the “Link Venmo & Earn $10 Credit” offer. I’m not sure what a “Qualifying purchase” is, but since there aren’t any specific inclusions/exclusions, I’ll try a gift card and report back (it may take a few weeks to know if it worked).
I tried chatting with Venmo customer service to get an answer about what a “qualifying purchase” is. Their response: “Amazon is the one who will determine the eligibility for this offer, and it is best to call their support team regarding the specifics of the offer. They are also the one who will provide this credit.” When I pushed back and noted that the terms state that Venmo is the entity that verifies the purchase, they followed up with, “As much as I want to provide you with more information, all I know is you have to link your Venmo as a payment method in Amazon and spend $100 USD or more on Amazon.com using Venmo as the sole payment method during the Offer Period.”
So, it looks like we’re just going to have to rely on DPs. AA keep us posted!
I’m tempted to buy a gift card for $100 maybe that will work, but with unclear terms who knows!
Hi, AA … Any update? Thanks …
Nothing yet. I made the purchase a week ago (it took a while to transfer funds into my Venmo account first). I imagine it might take a few weeks to get anything.
Just got the $10 from Venmo now! It was deposited to my Venmo account. This is 14 days after I made the purchase.
As another DP: I got credited $10 from Venmo today (12/29) for a $100 GC purchase I made just before midnight ET on 12/14. So, it looks like there may be a 14-day credit lag between the purchase and the credit.
Worked for me. Used the $10 credit to take advantage of the Black Friday sale on the 4 pack of Air Tags.
cannot link for some reason (getting an error )
got email:
