The Offer
- Amazon is currently offering a free 30 day trial to Amazon Music Unlimited
- Prime members should also see an offer for a $20 credit after the trial ends (can only be used towards Music Unlimited), so that would be another 2 and a bit months free. Not showing on all accounts for whatever reason.
- Normal prices are as follows:
- Prime: $7.99 per month or $79 per year
- Non prime: $9.90 per month
- Alexa: $3.99 per month (only for that specific device)
If you don’t have prime, there are some free trials you could use:
If you sign up for one of these free trials the $20 credit offer probably won’t show up in the first 24 hours.
Our Verdict
Amazon Prime members already get access to Prime Music but this is only access to 2 million songs, Amazon Music Unlimited is tens of millions. I personally prefer Spotify (but have heard good things about Google’s service, haven’t heard much about Amazon’s). The free trial is their standard offer but the $20 credit is new.
I wish the $20 credit wasn’t tied to Music Unlimited, so that people could get another $20 free like this $25 free Amazon credit promotion. As always big thanks for using our Amazon links, don’t forget to discount this further with these deals:
- 20% Off Select Gift Cards
- Possible 15% Off Amazon.com (Up To $1,000 & Can Be Used For Multiple Orders)
- Go through JetBlue & earn 3x points
- Might be possible to use the Amazon Assistant $5 off $25
- Use a discounted Amazon gift card, or a credit card that earns at a high rate at Amazon:
- Regular cards that earn up to 5% cash back on a year round basis
- [Targeted] AmEx Offer: 3x MR Points At Amazon.com
- Discover it offering 5% cash back this quarter, doubled if it’s your first year
- Blue Cash Everyday & Blue Cash Preferred offering 10% cash back for new cardholders on up to $2,000 in purchases
I got charged as well.
Did anyone get the $20 credit. i signed up and after the 30 day trial it just charged me the $7.95 per month, but I do not see the $20 credit anywhere
Meh. Spotify works, is already set up everywhere, my kid knows how to use it, I have playlists built, etc.
I will give it a shot, 30 days free then if I like it that will be $60 for a year. $5 a month seems reasonable, and I have been using the regular Amazon Prime music a ton and ended up canceling spotify, and removing it and pandora from my phone as the Prime music was enough, and “free” with my Prime subscription.
Thanks for the heads up on this deal.
