Our Verdict
Another nice Prime Day deal. We’ll add this to our main Prime Day 2023 page (constantly updated). Just remember to cancel after the second month charge hits to avoid paying full price.
You can signup for a free 30-day Amazon Prime trial which will last through Prime Day and take advantage of the many deals this month. Students get 6 months free (see our review on Prime Student here).
Definitely surprised to find out The Walking Dead is not included in the AMC+ subscription.
Qwyx AMC apparently had a contract with Netflix for The Walking Dead, Hulu for Fear the Walking Dead. Probably signed before AMC+ was developed. All the extraneous TWD shows are on AMC+ like Origins, the incredibly bad Beyond and the newer spinoffs.
Does anyone know if it’s a once in a lifetime deal or I can do this now for a channel then cancel after 2 months then try 99 cent deal again for same channel next time it comes?
Yes you can. I had britbox last prime day and just got again.
PBS masterpiece was free for 7 days yesterday and now they want 99 for a month? I just wanted to watch 1 show or 16 hours to watch it start to finish
I want to watch the old Inspector Morse series after finishing Endeavor. I thought they were on Acorn, but it seems not. Maybe BritBox? Decisions, decisions. If only I could spend $1.98 a month for two months and get both. :-/
Britbox
BritBox – Line of Duty 6 seasons!
in for party down season 3 on starz. pity no showtime this time
Are we having fun yet?
I don’t think there is a separate Showtime anymore. It’s part of Paramount+.
The AMC+ will work for me. Was only keeping it for one more month but better to pay 4.49 than 8.99 so thank you.
