By “everyday essentials” they mean a very limited list of items nobody actually used or wants and costs 5 dollars more than Walmart.
Exactly, Amazon always has a premium pricing compared to stores / Walmart. The only times when Amazon pricing makes sense is during deals.
Walmart has 36 scott rolls toilet paper for 29.87. AMZN is 32 rolls for 33.00. Need to comparison shop as Doc states.
There is also so many varieties of Scott that convolutes the pricing differences. It’s annoying. Target is running $15 off this week so got to comparison shop across the three.
I selected “Pet Products” on the left side and it filtered the search results to these two items:
