Our Verdict
Nice deal as you can sign up for free.
Did anyone end up getting the missing $25 after chatting with support?
I saw prvious comments that they did not receive the $25……..
Does it work if you sign up for trial too?
Will this work for existing student accounts ?
Student Prime memberships are great for reducing Amazon’s high Prime costs.
But that ad! I chuckled. Glad to see totally unrealistic virtue signalling advertising is still alive in corporate America.
When was the last time you been on a college campus?
Um, yesterday.
So you’re a creepy boomer hanging out on a college campus. That still doesn’t mean you know what you’re talking about.
Wtf are you talking about? You don’t think black people go to college? That’s all I can think of you’re saying.
If you can’t see a black person in an image without thinking it’s some sort of virtue signaling… that is some really bizarre thinking.
It cracks me up that you think we can see you on the internet.
it’s a disturbing trend those who see and think about race 24/7
So did anyone get the $25 credit after signing up?
Signed up through link just now for 6 month free trial. So far no emails or other mention of $25.
Still no $25 email or other mention of it.
Just to update never got any emails of any $25 credit despite signing up through link.
Signed up for the 6-month student trial two days ago.
Web page says “Congrats! You are eligible for the offer below” but clicking “Redeem this offer” just redirects to https://www.amazon.com/amazonprime
No $25 credit at checkout.
Same, website says eligible but not seeing the $25 anywhere
Does a “college shopping cart” mean it is specific to some items only? Or can we get any items sold by Amazon.com
Give me your .edu webmail login and I can find out for you!
Any item sold by Amazon and all eBooks
“Credit may only be used for products and digital content sold by Amazon.com or Amazon.com Services LLC (look for “sold by Amazon.com” or “sold by Amazon.com Services LLC ” on the product or content detail page) and all eBooks made available through Amazon.com. Products and digital content (except for eBooks) sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if “fulfilled by Amazon.com” or “Prime Eligible”.”
Saying “promo credit good through October 8, 2023” is misleading unless you wait until the very last day to sign up, William.
The promo credit is only active for 14 days, and October 8 is 14 days after September 24–the last day to sign up.
Good point, made clearer
