Our Verdict
We don’t often see this discounted. Great game, just be prepared to lose hours of your life. Remember to stack with other Prime day discounts.
Just in case anyone is trying to get this in digital format today, keep in mind, you can NOT purchase digital content of any sort on Walmart.com with a walmart giftcard. Its not just an inability to purchase another gift card with a gift card, but any digital products also apparently. However, they will not let you know this. You will just get an immediate cancellation notice after you order saying “location restriction” which is code for – we don’t accept walmart gift cards for digital content. Honestly seems like it could be considered fraud on walmarts end since I can’t find any reference to this limitation in the gift card T&C.
With how many of us buy Walmart gift cards either through CC point redemptions or just to hit a bonus/offer I think this should be highlighted somewhere on DOC William Charles
Maybe this issue already has been posted about and I missed it.
i like to play 1 game at a time, not going to get a new game until i finished my current game. Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Good to know, thanks Ken.
I definitely recommend. Sold my physical copy. Gonna buy digital just so it stays in my library for the switch 2.
Thanks!
Walmart canceled my digital order due to “location restrictions”. I’m in CA. Should’ve tried physical I guess. Now physical is out of stock
Were you using a walmart gift card as the payment source by chance?
Is this available on Steam?
No it’s a Nintendo exclusive for the switch.
Price is down to $30 now for both digital and physical copies, with direct fulfillment from Walmart.

lol console gaming
if you have a PC with the right specs, just emulate and save yourself $50
Emulate means stealing it, right?
I’m all for emulating, but pirating games that came out recently is scummy
You must be fun at parties.
Should specify that $51.99 is for a physical game cartridge and not the online code download for $69.99.
Should also specify that Walmart currently has the same price, which has been the price for at least a week now.
There might also be a reason for the discount: the physical copies are being sold via third-party seller overseas, which runs the risk of customer getting one of the PAL versions of the game such as MSE.
