  • Amazon is offering 50% off when you use at least one Chase Ultimate Rewards point ($15 maximum discount)
    • Here’s how to go about doing this deal:
      1. Link your Chase Ultimate Rewards account to your Amazon account if you haven’t already (you often have to wait 24 hours after registering your card until you can activate the offer)
      2. Activate offer at this link
      3. Proceed to checkout & select your Chase Rewards Card as your payment method
      4. Select the amount of Ultimate Rewards Points you’d like to use for the purchase (must use points for at least $.01 of the purchase)
      5. Up to a $15 discount will be automatically applied at checkout

The Fine Print

  • The promotion will begin on 06/21/22 and end on the earlier of (a) 11:59pm PT on 07/13/2022, or (b) the time at which 80,000 customers have redeemed the offer.

Our Verdict

As always this doesn’t work on Amazon branded gift cards, but does work on third party gift cards.

Might make sense to wait for more Prime Day deals to come along before using the offer but always a chance it’ll hit the redemption cap.

      Just used it again on my 2nd account.

  • Was able to activate and use the offer today. $15 off $30 on 3rd party gift card. Also items sold and shipped by amazon.com will work too.

    • Working today for $15 off. 48 hours after adding the card seems to be normal from recent comments. Worked on my CSP. On my Ink it's showing $3 off even though the code says 15OFF. I may need the first item to ship then try again.

      • Will it work if I delete after shipment from the 1st Ink card and add another ink card?

  • How can I use another payment method after getting the $15 discount? Specifically my gift card balance. Thanks

  • Got 50% off up to $15 on three business and one personal accounts belonging to various family members. No terms showing on the activation page — just an “Activate” button. Had to play around with various items in the cart to figure out what the offer was.

  • Are there specific items that this doesn’t apply to? I activated the offer and can’t get it to work on most things except an iPad which I wasn’t going to buy.

    • Typically it only works on items shipped and sold by Amazon. Try the website onlyamazingsellers to search (now that Amazon has eliminated that filter option)
