American Express has started on construction to expand the Las Vegas Centurion lounge. This expansion will see the square footage increase from 9,000 to 13,400 (almost 50%). The new extension and redesign is expected to be completed in 2021, but I don’t know of a Centurion lounge project that was completed on time. At the start of 2019 the Las Vegas centurion lounge had to be closed twice due to maintenance issues. Currently all Centurion lounges are closed to COVID-19.

Any news on the Denver lounge?
They will expand the lounge and let fewer people in because….. social distancing!
This location was also quite run down and dirty. Any improvement would be welcome.
It’ll still be overcrowded post-renovation.
It won’t be because the changes (no arrival and only those departure within 3 hours) they added already took care of that overcrowded issue.
Not true, I was in LAS January with those rules in place and still had to wait 20 minutes for capacity to become available.
Standing in line to put your name down to then wait in the terminal and then come back into another line to get in really defeats the point of the lounge, especially if you’ve had to trek over there in the first place.
I went there every couple of months in 2019, and there was always a massive line to get in… A couple times I went to a priority pass lounge around the corner. Even in Jan and Feb of 2020, it was at or exceeding capacity every time I flew through there.
Dope, yeah this one was always packed. Looking forward to the added space
