Our Verdict

Nice offer. The card got a refresh today with new benefits; at the same time they’ve released this Resy bonus for $200 + $150. I believe the 10% will be on top of the standard 1% earn for a total 11% back. The standard non-Resy offer currently stands at $250. We’ll add this to our List of Best Credit Card Signup Bonuses.

  • Does Amex give you a virtual card right away after approval or does one need to wait for the physical card to make any purchase ?

  • I have a Blue Business plus card if i apply for a personal card with amex will it be a soft pull ?

    • i have other amex personal cards and my blue cash was a soft pull - not sure about biz

  • 3% Online Retail is nice; it makes this card a good competitor to the BofA Red for someone without Preferred Rewards and more competitive against the SavorOne. Hopefully they bring a limited 6% Online Shopping to the BCP.

    • Did they change anything with the Amex Blue Cash rewards system? I had gas (2%) and Microsoft (3%) charges on the last statement that just closed a week or so ago. However, my rewards total doesn't reflect rewards earned on these transactions? Is there a delay? Does it usually take a couple of cycles for it to show up? Thanks

      • I want to say that Amex has always had a one-cycle delay before Rewards Dollars become available for use, but it’s been a while. Perhaps someone else can comment.

  • I was able to PC my old Blue card into this. For years the only PC option was Everyday and later Cash Magnet. Very happy.

  • Nice enhancements for those focused on no fee cards: No min redemption and the $6k cap for each category separately.
