Our Verdict
Business Green is something most of end up getting via downgrade from Platinum as the signup bonus has typically been a measly 5,000 points. This new offer is somewhat more interesting due to the high bonus potential. I’d argue that these categories (restaurants, hotels, airfare) are often bonused on other cards, and the incremental additional value of 3x Membership Rewards points might be minimal or nothing.
Additionally, you can get a friend to refer you to the card; you’ll get 5,000 points with the annual fee waived for the first year, and they’ll get 10-20k points, depending on which offer they use. So that’s probably a better deal overall. Update: apparently, the referral offer now comes with the $95 fee.

its still showing an available referral card for both me and P2 clicked through to apply for both and it allows me to apply for the card.

The kind of company that spends $50k in 3 months on restaurants, flights & hotels is the kind of company that wouldn’t need or want this card. Also, flights & hotels have to be booked directly per the terms so no OTA or 3rd party bookings will count towards the 3x

It looks like TPG is correct and Green biz card apps referrals ( have been pulled) and not showing as on option to refer of new links for the $0 AF card
BUT -I’ve been planning on getting the the Green Biz for P2 and myself (not sure why I had back burner-ed easy and cheap MR so long) – but I did have old link page that allowed us to apply and get approved and T&C still spawn the $0 AF and 5K MR terms. ( I had the referrals open in an incognito tabs for me and P2). Applied and and approved for me and P2 as of 2:45PM PDT
So if any DOC readers are still Green Biz card virgins out there that haven’t app’d the card bonus. That would like the card to get targeted for Upgrade to Plat/Gd Biz I have working links (but they are referrals) Not sure how long the links will last – but if you click through it should still spawn an app with T&C that

Recently player 2 and I both signed up for this card, nabbed the referral points, but also 10k MR instead of 5k MR each. For some reason, we both got the 5000MR welcome offer bonus posted twice. No explanation….
That’s been happening for at least a year or so.
