In the June issue of the Delta Sky Magazine there are ads for sign up bonuses of 75,000 miles on both the Delta Reserve ($5,000 spend) and Platinum ($3,000 spend) cards. The URL is currently erroring out, but I suspect it will go live on June 1st.
Previously we’ve seen a bonus of 70,000 miles + 10,000 MQM on the Reserve card and 70,000 miles + $100 on the Platinum card. I think most people will prefer the extra MQM on the Reserve card and $100 on the Platinum card so these new offers aren’t that strong but from a purely miles perspective they will be the highest we’ve seen on both cards.
– Gold BIZ = 70k/$50 credit with $4k MSR
– Plat BIZ = 80k/5k MQM/$100 credit with $6k MSR
– Reserve BIZ = 80k/5k MQM, but $0 or no credit offered with $6k MSR
Are you eligible for the full 75K platinum bonus if you had the gold card before?

Just applied and application automatically canceled. Probably need to wait thirty days from my last Amex approval???
Amex has 2 credit cards within 90 days rule . Also if you have applied for other delta card within 90 days , amex system may cancel your application.
In that case you need to call and ask for the manual review.

Thanks for the heads up, would like to take advantage next time I see a flash sale to Japan. Other than Avianca used on partners I haven’t seen any others that have no fuel surcharges and only $60.00 in fees rt. Hope I can get approved.
I just applied for the 40k reserve offer last week. Haven’t spent anything on the card yet. Will they upgrade the offer to the 75K by calling or is it best to cancel the card and reapply?
Amex won’t match and you can’t cancel and reapply since amex cards have lifetime restriction for the bonus .

Once you are approved , you won’t be eligible for the bonus for that card.
I wish I didn’t upgrade my regular Hilton to Aspire. tough to spend $4k in 3 months. Amex shuts down, contacts you saying bonus is denied after you make any GC purchase etc. Only organic regular purchases and no use such as paying rent or GC purchase of any amount qualifies to meet spend req with AMEX CARD.
Can’t read through all the fine prints as those are too small. Any idea if the same offer will be available for business versions as well?
