American Express has opened the new centurion lounge at LaGuardia Airport (LGA). This was announced as an expansion by American Express but the lounge has moved location and it’s now double the size (over 10,000 square feet). The new is located in Terminal B right before the Eastern Concourse pedestrian bridge on the fourth floor. It’s open 5 am – 6 pm daily, but closes 5PM on Saturdays.
It’s welcome news given how small the OG lounge was. But still, it’s not close at all for Delta passengers, especially with all of the crazy construction and having to shuttle it.
Where is it in relation to where it used to be? From the description, it sounds like about the same place.
Other than being “above,” is this lounge before or past security checkpoint?

Thanks. I’m glad of that (I think…) because issue was more timing when flying from same terminal than trying to utilize from others. You would have to be crazy to try to go between terminals at LGA, especially with construction.
….. And I will still never ever go to LaGuardia ever again. Nice try though, not fooling me.
Why not? New terminal is super nice and very pleasant experience.
New LGA is actually nice though, ahead of JFK and certainly better than EWR…
Really? It’s nice, easy bus and train to the city.
You should rethink that if you’re leaving from Terminal B. Was there yesterday and it was by far the best airport experience I’ve ever had (even without trying the Centurion lounge). It’s a beautiful space with all state of the art systems and a really cool water/light show.
Southwest pulled out of Newark, so I need to hope most people have as large an aversion to LGA as you.
…P2 has companion pass to make it that much more unavoidable for us.
I just flew through this terminal a few weeks ago. It’s brand new and really nice, though it’s a long walk to many of the gates.
The parts of LGA that have been renovated are very nice. There’s still a lot of construction going on, so traffic is often a mess.
LGA went from being one of the ugliest airports i have ever seen in the US to one of the top nicest ones. Its brand new and beautiful.
