I’m done with life miles. They showed 13.5k + $5.60 on a EWR to SFO award. Exact same price as UA but I had a transfer bonus to LifeMiles. Imagine my surprise when the checkout screen tacked on another $25 “partner redemption” fee. LifeMiles, you wanna charge that kind of fee, you gotta put it upfront like Alaska.
Lifemiles web site is like a choose-your-own-adventure experience, sometimes you find what you want, sometimes you can’t find anything, sometimes the site is busted.
I agree! If the fee is mandatory, it should be added to the price
