Do these not work for MR points on business accounts?
Good bonus but there is always a but hard to find partner awards !!!
not really. off peak in spring i found first class AA between sfo and jfk
This golden if you can find the unicorn AA partner flights.
How does the DoC think about the CapitalOne -> FlyingBlue 20% bonus?
Ok, this offer will end in August
Fkkk miiiiiii ofc I already booked a week ago bruh
What’s the best use of Avios?
Booking flights on Alaska and/or American, me thinks.
West coast to Hawaii on AA/Alaska. Short flights within Japan on JAL.
When it actually works.
I just tried several attempted bookings to Hawaii, various dates, and all unsuccessful. Availability issues, and when there was availability, it couldn’t be booked online.
Clearly, I’ll have to try harder, but my point is that booking flights via Avios has gotten harder in the USA, at least in my experience.
Hard to find partner awards on AA and Alaska.
Book Alaska/American doemstic or Qatar international (assuming you don’t have AA miles)
British Air Avios can be converted to Iberia or Qatar Avios (and I believe some other variants).
Short haul (direct) AA flights. If you’re international then short haul flights on lots of partners. JAL redemptions aren’t bad. Longish but direct AA flights.
They’re not incredible anymore but I often find good AA availability on short haul flights, and with a 30-40% bonus on, say points I already earned at 4x, it’s a pretty good cpp earning rate.
