My goodness. I just transferred 150K last week!!!!
120k here
Is this bonus available to all MR earning cards or just the Platinum? (Asking because I am planning to cancel plat and keep a blue.)
I’ve never heard of a transfer bonus being limited to specific Amex-issued cards. There may be restrictions from non-card accounts, like it says when you click on the “direct link to offer” link above:
“Important information
If American Express® Rewards Checking and/or American Express® Business Checking are your only Membership Rewards® Products, your points transfer options will be limited to a selection of participating hotel and travel partners.”
So the restriction is only on who you can transfer to if you don’t have an MR card that has fully transferrable points.
But which “Blue” are you referring to? The Blue Cash does not earn transferrable MR points. “Everyday” is the no-AF personal card that earns transferrable MR points.
assuming once these are in your avios account they can be transferred between other avios accounts like normal?
Yes
despite devaluation can still transfer to Iberia or Qatar
What is the transfer rate between AMEX and QATAR? 1:1? Any idea?
Bear in mind the recent BA devaluation
Oh mama…
