• Open a new checking account with American Heritage Credit Union at their Feasterville branch and receive a bonus of up to $135:
  • $100 for opening with direct deposit and debit card (awarded 60 days after opening)
  • $5 for enrolling in eStatements (awarded 60 days after enrollment)
  • $5 for using their eDeposit (must be submitted before 12 pm EST on 3/31/17, awarded 45 days after 1st deposit)
  • $25 for enrolling in their OnLine Teller or Mobile Teller App (awarded 60 days after enrollment or two billing cycles)

 

The Fine Print

• All accounts must be open and in good standing to receive monetary incentives.
• Account activity must be completed at the AMHFCU Stowe branch, located in the Roberts Center for Pediatric Research of CHOP at 271 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146 to be eligible.
• Members receiving incentives will be sent an IRS Form 1099 and may be responsible for paying taxes on the incentives.
• Offer valid from 2/5/18 until 4/30/18. Offer not valid on existing AMHFCU loans.
• Earn $100 when you open a new checking with direct deposit and a debit card, awarded 60 days after opening.
• Earn $5 when you enroll in eStatements, awarded 60 days after enrollment. Earn $5 when you deposit your first check using eDeposit; awarded 45 days after first deposit is made.
• eDeposit must be submitted before 12 pm EST on 4/30/18. Earn $25 when you enroll in OnLine Teller and/or Mobile Teller and pay a bill using the service.
• Awarded 60 days after the payment is made.
• Bill Payment must be submitted before 12 pm EST on 4/30/18.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

They offer a totally free checking account with no monthly fees to worry about. I wasn’t able to see any mention of any early account termination fee in their fee schedule.

Our Verdict
