Our Verdict

Interesting to see Amex team up with Lyft being that they also have partnerships with Uber on their Platinum cards. Maybe it’s a sign that American Express will issue the new Lyft credit card? Certainly an improved offer for new members. A lot of people may already have signup up for the card or might have been converted from the Delta SkyMiles Options card and thus won’t be eligible for this bonus.

I’d go with the delta platinum card, though the really good sign up offer ended I see that you can refer friends through next month. Much better bonus and benefits. The companion voucher pays for the annual fee easily.

On a side note. I see Amex already changed the SPG offer to $200 in statement credits.

10,000 SkyDongs (HT: Milenerd)? Should be enough for a flight across the street.

I get that the Delta Blue does not even try to compete with a card like CSR, but come on.
