Our Verdict
Too bad it doesn’t cover Netflix or Hulu. There is a separate deal from Amex for Hulu.
Hat tip to readers Shri and Ted
Haven’t seen anything about this Amex offer lately, you sure it’s still available?
The post is from December and the offer expired on 3/6/19, so I would not have expected to hear anything about it.
Sadly, when I got the email about your post I thought it was about a new deal and wasted time logging into my AMEX accounts looking for it again!
AMEX offer CBS All Access Spend $9 or more, get $5 back. Up to 3x EXPIRES
4/9/2019

Has anyone tried this offer by buying the XM prepaid GC on their site. I see its issued by a third party, wonder if it would trigger the offer.
Hope it also works on phoned in payments for SiriusXM since I need to call in January for my semi-annual renewal at a discounted rate.
For those who are not aware, you can get 6 months of XM for around $30 including fees. You need to call and ask for the deal, threaten to cancel if necessary. That’s about what it’s worth to me.
funny watching amex scrap for those small dollar transactions they used to look down upon.
Not showing up on the website or the app (after I called Amex and they told me to check the app). Called a second time and they couldn’t find it – said it might be “cyclical” or a targeted offer.
Business amex doesn’t seem eligible
Will stack nicely with the current SB offer!
That was my thought!
Interested to see if Youtube TV counts….
Doubt it counts as it is not listed as one of the providers that count, unfortunately.
Awesome. Got it on one card, the one with the Hulu offer added.
