If I cancel the Alaska tickets purchased through AmEx Travel, will I be able apply the credit into my Alaska Airlines wallet (not in AmEx account)?

Has anyone actually gotten the $100 credit or email for it? I met the terms (booked via Amex Travel, above $500, Alaska) and I have not. Plus it just showed up on my credit card as Alaska, not Amex Travel, so I’m going to be very annoyed if it doesn’t even work

my terms states that it must be booked directly though AMEX Travel and cannot be booked directly through Alaska. Is everyone terms different?

I was planning on using my companion pass on an Alaska flight
No way to stack that with this since we need to book through amextravel right?

Yes there is. Book $500 ticket, get $100 back from AMEX. Cancel said ticket into your Alaska Wallet. The book ticket with companion fare, using the wallet credit to pay.

do you wait until you get the $100 back from Amex before canceling your flight for credit in Alaska Wallet?

Has anyone tried this approach (canceling ticket from AmEx and deposit into Alaska wallet)? I’d appreciate a confirmation whether this works.
