What does everyone order from here? I’ve tried to stack deals like these in the past but always felt like warehouse clubs had better pricing and selection even after a stacked deal. Btw..I think Ebates has 10% CB today/tomorrow on Boxed.
Generally, I agree. They are not competitive on most products, and I am not a fan of their random stock model. However, with the Amex offer + 10% cashback through Ebates (especially using the MR version), the value is definitely there for me.
I use them exclusively during such promotions, and usually stock up on a small number of items that are decently priced there (for me, these are mostly Goya chickpeas, low sodium soy sauce, and some products from their own brand).
I will say that I would agree they stock some of the same products as Costco (food items and other merch). But just used this Amex offer $20 off $75 on $147 order it stacked with Boxed new user sign up for 15% off , went thru Ibotta for 16% off ~paid out on $147 ($23 +$10 for some other Boxed Ibotta offer I was unaware of, so $33 CB which posted 72hours)
$147-15%
$125- 16%+$10 Ibotta cb
=$92- $20 Amex offer
=$72 -$10 Amex Gold monthly dining
=$62 total delivered no tax or S&H
plus 3X MR offer for boxed 375 MR posted and $85 CB or %off savings.
So yeah while prices are normally higher than Costco ( no loading/unloading vehicle) but $147 less $85 granted that is for one time offers and/or Single/Primary Ibotta account , and one Boxed E-mail address.
But I bought stuff I already bought that the family eats as well as something I’ve not seen at Costco in PNW bulk single variety packs of Grits (don’t laugh I spent part of my childhood in ATL).
