Deal has ended, view more Dell deals by clicking here.

The Offer

Check your AmEx Offers for the following deal:

  • Get a one-time $100 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $500 in one or more transactions online at Dell.com by 4/30/2021. See terms for exclusions.

The Fine Print

  • Offer valid online only at dell.com US website, through the merchant mobile app or via phone at 1-877-350-0204.
  • Valid only for purchases made directly with the merchant.
  • Transactions through third party payment processors are excluded.
  • Excludes all e-gift card and gift card purchases, international transactions, international contact center, Global events, Dell Financial services, Dell Outlet for Home, Dell Outlet for Work, Dell PartnerDirect, Dell Premier, Dell Premier Connect, Dell Premier Select, and authorized retailers.
  • Not valid on purchases shipped outside the US, Puerto Rico, USVI and Guam. See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas.

Our Verdict

Offer is found on some personal cards and apparently some business cards too. (I haven’t yet seen any reports of it showing on the business Platinum card; if it does, that would stack nicely with the $100 twice-annual rebate benefit.) There’s a similar offer found on some AmEx business cards for 10% back; this offer for $100 back is a better deal for those spending exactly $500 as it would then give a 20% rebate with the $100 credit. The terms exclude gift cards, though – in practice – it very possibly would work on the purchase of XBOX gift cards.

Should stack well with the $25 credit on $500 spend if you can find the Dell offer on the card you saved that offer.

I used this to order a new computer, splitting the payment between my card and my spouse’s card to trigger the offer on both. Got the two redemption emails from AMEX right away.

I made sure all items were going to ship before the 30th so that the charges go through while the offer is still valid.

Good deal, thanks!

If I buy two items priced at $250 and $250 at once (total is above $500), but they get charged separately because of shipping on different dates, do I still get this credit?

Yes — “spend a minimum of $500 in one or more transactions”

Anyone know if the 2% student education/MPP discount is safe to use for Amex credit?

Buying from deals.dell.com/en-us/mpp/ (instead of deals.dell.com/en-us/)

I refuse to pay Dell anything because of their lousy billing policy. Missed out on the $100 statement credit from last year because Dell won’t bill the items until they ship, and my items didn’t ship before the offer expiration.

You are funny. I imagine you’d be the 1st in line to complain when you preorder a $600 item released 2022Q2 but you were charged right now.
