The Offer

Check your AmEx Offers to save the following deal:

  • Get 10% back on your wireless bill, up to $30 in statement credits. Valid through 12/31/23.

Our Verdict

$30 is a nice max. Some people don’t find these offers very worthwhile since you’re giving up the ability to use a card that earns a high rate on Wireless.

Will Extra Device payment on T-mobile trigger this?

How can they (not) track if the charge is paid for a bill (at the store) or for a bill AND merchandize added to that bill? I’m eeyeeeing a new phone on sale now. Yum!

Added up-to $40 (same 10%) in about the middle of the year. Have until end of year to use it. That is on the Cash Magnet.

I got up to $15. Used apple pay on Geico app. wonder if they combined with 5 off 40 or 50 for apple pay amex offers.

The 12/ 31/2023 expiration sucks – but I may end up saving $5 X 2 =$10 on my T-mobile home internet bill and maybe pay a bit more in advance. Thanks DOC!

I had a $40 max; 10% cash still better than 5% UR on Ink.

IIRC all 3 big carriers now require debit cards for various discounts. For me, $30 cash back doesn’t match the discount I’ll lose by switching back to Amex. If they want those charge fees, they’ll have to pony up.

If you have a business account on T-Mobile, there is no autopay discount so you’re free to pay with whatever credit card you want – there’s no extra fees.

At least on T mobile, I am able to pay manually with credit card – I have setup auto pay with debit card to get auto pay discount – but I manually pay the amount each month using credit card

T mobile told me I had to switch by December 7th (or so) to continue to get the per line autopay discount. Hopefully your approach continues to work after that date as if so I’ll be trying it next month!

On T-Mobile you can set the account to autopay from a checking account, but pay all but $1 on a credit card and still get the autopay discount.

I don’t leave any amount. I get the notification of a bill, go to app, pay balance. Rinse and repeat each month.

I accidentally added it to the card where I add all unwanted offers. Now I can’t find it.
