The American Express Platinum signup bonus offers changed abruptly today. Below you’ll find a list of the previous offers, as well as the currently best available offers, including a newly increased referral offer.

Our Verdict
These offers are still good offers in the broader picture, but obviously not as good as the offers which were available previously. It’s odd how quickly the old offers were pulled as we usually get some sort of heads-up in one way or another. The newly increased 150,000 referral offer is interesting, and might be better for some people in 2-player mode.
Referral link still working on similar themed sites, if you do a simple Google search. Got a 150k referral link to work.
I know I hadn’t been able to pull up a 150k referral for a while, even uscreditcardguide(dot)com had dropped their best offer to not include a 150k. Today, I was able to pull up 150k via referral link consistently. Incognito and VPN to Texas (normally New York had worked before, but not now).

Got this to work by VPNing to Dallas (Houston didn’t work) and I had to use Safari. Chrome showed only 125k.

can i assume that all mom & pop stores qualify for the 10x small business? if not, how know which stores will qualify assuming they’re not on the amex site?

Has anyone verified their 150k bonus via referral with an online CSR rep after receiving their card? I applied for the 150k bonus via referral link on Monday, received the card on Wednesday and chatted with an online CSR rep to verify the bonus. They rep said the offer attached to my account was only 100k. I only applied directly via the link and completed my app and got instantly approved. I never closed my window or re-opened to continue my application. The rep submitted a ticket and I attached the exact link I used and screenshots showing the 150k bonus. They told me to check back in about 2 weeks with a resolution, but I’m getting anxious they are not going to honor the 150k SUB.
Anyone know what the latest offers are for Schwab / Morgan Stanley? I need to signup for the Morgan Stanley one, but it looks like (to me, unless someone else has a better link) that it’s simply 100k points for spending $6k, WITHOUT the 10x for restaurants/small business.
I was thinking of doing morgan stanley but I assume it is possible to do only one of these offers, right? Also, if someone can answer – is it possible to redeem these points for cash transfer to bank or for statement credit? Thanks!
Anyone else notice they seem to have retroactively pulled the offer? 10x points should mean 200 for a $20 purchase but my app is now only showing 1:1 for purchases made in the past few months.
I was surprised at first as well. Because the 10x is part of a promo, they add the extra points separately as 9x (since the base rate is 1x). If you go to the AmEx website you can get a listing of each point earned. Simply login then navigate to -> Rewards & Benefits -> View All Rewards Activity (or go here after logging in: https://global.americanexpress.com/rewards/summary). It will show promo entries a few days after a qualifying small biz or restaurant purchase. AmEx groups the promo payouts by day, so it can be annoying to verify that you’re getting the points you expect or verify that a specific business qualified for the bonus.

P2 got one in December on this deal to double dip on the FHR, Saks, and airline credits. The 15x is insanely good and we’ve taken full advantage; really glad we got this last month.
So pissed off at this. Was literally waiting until TODAY for the new designs and they pulled the offer. Had a large construction purchase that would have qualified as a small business purchase…. There goes 375,000 MR points 😭

Yikes. Imagine losing 375k points because you wanted a card with some flowers or some colored lines on it.
Or because you didn’t realize that you could have applied at any time previously and simply requested one of the colorful cards today as a replacement.
