Our Verdict
We’ve seen the same deal on Walgreens and Apple Service.
Hat tip to readers Otto A & Matt.
If I apply for Apple Card from Apple wallet and approved would I still get this $50 Panera gift card ? Or I have to use this link to qualify for it.
I still can’t believe that Apple has the most ridiculous sign-up bonuses. Your customers spend almost $1,000 on your phones and you give them a $50 bonus for using your card that can ONLY be used as long as they have your phone? LOL
If you purchase iPhones at full msrp, you’re doing something terribly wrong.
It’s Apple. People will get it just because they think it’s cool. They don’t need to offer huge bonuses.
inb4 Panera comes out with its own co-branded cc with a Starbucks-level signup bonus
I do enjoy Panera bread and would find value in this promo. You also receive 3% back unlimited cash everytime when you use your apple card at Panera Bread. So this might be attractive to some people.
Altitude Go is 4% at all restaurants which I’m guessing is what Panera codes as? Just offering up an alternative because SUB and CB are kinda weak on the Apple Card
yes it is a crappy bonus but it isn’t intended to get people like us to apply. It is for regular folk, the type that cash out UR points at 1¢ as cash or statement credits.
That’s still better than using UR on gift cards or products.
I wish this offer was for walgreens though. Does Panera sell 3rd party gcs?
Even worse, redeem it when making amazon purchases so they’re “free”
So true. But we need untrained people like that to offset us.
To be fair, some people don’t travel all that often so they might not find the value in transfer partners or redemptions towards travel.
What?! $50 of fresh, delicious Panera food just by signing up for the Apple Card?! Thank you, Apple! This should match well with my Macbook and Airpods!! Sign me up!!!
LOL. I would have expected more from Apple. I wouldn’t even do a bank bonus for that amt.
Really? This sounds classic Apple to me.
I just assumed. Their products are so expensive, but they offer a $50 bonus?…And, Panera’s probably the company paying the bonus.
I still don’t see a point of signing one up if you aren’t using/buying any of Apple’s products.
Does Panera sell Visa Gift Cards?
Can’t say I’ve spent more than 50$ at Panera throughout my time here on earth
