Update 6/22/22: The public offer expired a while back, but apparently there’s now a targeted version showing for some in Credit Karma for $75 cashback signup bonus. (ht Sean)
The Offer
- Apple Card is offering a $75 cash signup for new cardmembers who sign up via the Credit Karma link and spend $75 within 30 days.
The Fine Print
- Subject to credit approval.
- Valid only for new Apple Card holders who apply under this promotion through Credit Karma’s marketplace or email, open an account 3/4/22 through 4/1/22, and spend $75 or more in total on the new Apple Card account within 30 days of opening. Accounts opened before 3/4/22 and after 4/1/22 do not qualify.
- Not valid for existing Apple Card users who merge their Apple Card accounts to become Co-Owners with other existing Apple Card users, or for Co-Owners or Participants added on a new Apple Card Family account.
- For clarity, any spend by Apple Card Family Participants and Co-Owners does not qualify toward the $75 threshold.
- Limit one offer per account.
- $75 cash back is earned as Daily Cash and is transferred to your Apple Cash card after $75 worth of transactions have posted to your Apple Card account. Participant or Co-owner contributions to the $75 spend threshold may delay fulfillment of your bonus. Returns of qualifying items purchased during the offer period to reach minimum spend threshold may result in a Daily Cash adjustment charge to your account. An additional purchase made during the offer period may qualify you for re-fulfillment of the Daily Cash bonus, but re-fulfillment may be delayed. Changes to your account status during the offer period may delay the fulfillment of your Daily Cash bonus. An Apple Cash card is required to use Daily Cash, except if you do not have an Apple Cash card, in which case you can only apply your Daily Cash as a credit on your statement balance. Daily Cash is subject to exclusions, and additional details apply. See the Apple Card Customer Agreement for more details. If we determine that you have engaged in or plan to engaged in abuse or gaming in connection with this offer, you will not be eligible for this offer.

Our Verdict
Apple Card sometimes does not offer any signup bonus at all, but we often find various small signup offers for $50 or $75 at select merchants. This one for $75 as straight cash back is best offer ever and might even be appealing to someone who just wants a cash signup bonus with basically no spend requirement.
We don’t typically add offers less than $100 to our Best Credit Card Bonus page, but since this one has low/no spend requirement I’ll add it in there.

DP:
06/23 applied and approved with the CK offer
06/26 Spend $75
06/27 Apple cash shows Promotion $75 + the cash back i got with the purchase.
Did this before, $75 didn’t post. Called, rep said this was their mistake. Follow up email: “Your account does not qualify for this promotion but we are providing goodwill for $75 as a courtesy.” WTF? Whatever, I got it, and then closed the account.
You got lucky. I CFPB’d Apple over not receiving my $50 sign up bonus from them when they had their Exxon Mobil promotion. I applied on 1/27 before the promo expired on 1/31 of last year, and my app went pending until I was finally approved on 2/2. I made my $50+ transaction on 2/18, well within 30 days of applying, and they said they considered that to be my official date of sign up. Since I didn’t sign up before 1/31 according to them, they would not award me the bonus. A waste of time and money especially since Exxon Mobil is more expensive in my area compared to other gas stations.
Thanks Sean. I got the offer on my CK account. Applied and instantly approved. In the next couple of days will spend the $75 and see if i get the SUB.
Looks like it’s back. Same offer popped up on my credit karma account. Valid 6/7/22 through 7/11/22. @Chuck
I don’t see any mention of the $75 at this link https://www.creditkarma.com/creditcard/CCApple01
Any chance you can send over a screenshot? chuck@doctorofcredit
Sent you a screenshot on Monday. I’m guessing this is a targeted / YMMV type thing. Can confirm it worked, though. Approved Monday, purchase posted today and extra $75 was immediately added to Apple Cash balance.
Thanks
Applied and instantly approved on 3/29
Spent $75 on my tuition and nothing less on 4/5
Receive .75 in apple cash not much later but no SUB…
Call Apple Card support on 4/17 – they don’t know anything about the promo but say they will post ticket and call me later.
Now 4/21 with no SUB and no call from Apple, cool
My next step is to hit up CK, will report back
Reporting back, no luck.. Moving onto bigger and better things
