Our Verdict
Good deal on the Series 9.
Best Buy is offering extremely good options with open box models. I bought an “excellent” condition open box which was essentially brand new for $250.
Got one of the 9’s at Walmart a couple weeks ago at this price. It was the model with the blood oxygen sensor which was a really nice find.
It was at a rather remote location, but since we were passing through on a road trip and that particular state doesn’t have a sales tax… it was too good a deal to pass up.
Series 9 can’t do blood oxygen measurements due to a patent dispute. So if you care about that, that’s a reason to hang onto your 8.
Expected Apple Watch 10 in late 2024. So the sale is to clear inventory
