****Warning Fraud Alert******
I got 2 calls today and 2 texts claiming to be from fraud department at Unify. The message said to respond to the text or voicemail to verify a suspicious transaction on my debit card ending in x1234.
I went to Unifys website and saw a warning pinned on the front page about scammers:
“IMPORTANT FRAUD MESSAGING ALERT: Recently, there has been a rise in attempted fraudulent imposter activity through text messaging and phone calls claiming to be from UNIFY. Fraudsters are trying to gain account and identification information. If you did not intend to contact UNIFY, DO NOT provide any information if prompted; always contact UNIFY immediately, 877.254.9328, 24/7, to get our assistance on any suspicious communication.”
I called the phone number they left on my voicemail (scammers number) and it was a computer voice asking for information. First it asked for my zip code, so I put in a fake zipcode. Then it asked for last four digits of my Social Security Number, so I hung up. I called Unify and they verified that my account has NOT been breached.
Was Unify’s database breached? ………… Someone had my phone number and the last four digits of my Debit card.

would anyone know what external bank accounts’ would meet the deposit reqiorements ?
1. AFAIK, the $125 referral offer is dead, which is why the title of the post says Expired, and even when active, was limited to Arkansas, Missouri, or Oklahoma.
2. There is a $50 referral offer that is active and basically nationwide. However there isn’t a direct deposit requirement, so ANYTHING would work.

Was told you can combine the $125 Referral Offer with the $250 Bonus offer(this only works for in branch). Was also told CC funding counted as a cash advance(I believe this is only for in branch as well).

A Couple of notes:
CC funding registered as a cash advance on Citi. However as of 12/14/22 the cash advance fee is still pending so I don’t know if it will actually go through as a cash advance.
Prior to going in branch I tried combining offers online and had no luck.
In branch they listed AMEX as a CC funding option in addition to VISA, MC and Discover available online.
TLDR: Easy bonus, can combine for a total of $375 if you go in branch.

Anyway, i decided rather than do it online, i would go to have a face to face with a representative to open the account.
She verbally verified:
1. ChxSystems – yes
2. Possible to stack both the bonuses *250 sign up and 125 referral. * ; and she did.
3. While signing upright before the new cycle, the woman told me that my promos would credit up to 90 days with good account history etc. Not what happened.
