Our Verdict
You can cancel anytime, so make sure you remember to do that. Some people are getting this even if they have had Audible in the past, others it doesn’t work for.
This is part of the lead up sales for prime day. Seems to working even for those who had Audible in the past. Just double-check that you don’t end up getting charged since some people had an issue and had to chat to get a refund.

Had Audible in the past, absolutely nothing here. I’d be happy enough with the $0.99/mo offer, but nope.

Same. This offer should probably have a YMMV tag on it instead of “some people are getting this even if they have had Audible in the past, others it doesn’t work for.”

These offers never seem to work if you’ve ever had one in the past. Seems shortsighted to do this (YouTube is a huge offender as well), services change over time and someone who had a free trial years ago might subscribe if they saw features and changes that weren’t there years ago.
I had one a few years and got the free offer now.
Got this offer even though I have done others in the past. I never see anyone talking much about their audible exclusive content.
No offer shows for me, just the general Audible info page. Not even ‘not eligible for offer’, nothing shows up from the link to offer. Am I doing something wrong? I am Prime & hadn’t had Audible for years.

I don’t have any offers visible on the website or in-app, but it might be too soon since my last bout of free Premium Plus (canceled February 2024). I’ll recheck on Prime Day to see if I have any offers.
Prime Day offer: $0.99/month for 3 months. Not free, but it’s close enough that I’ll take it. I still have a bunch of audiobooks on my wishlist.

Had Audible offer maybe last year? But, when I click on this link, I get nothing. I did get an email a few days ago for 2 free months though.
