Our Verdict
Some things to note:
- I have no idea if this card is churnable or not. If anybody knows, please share in the comments. Please don’t just ask if it’s churnable, people will comment if they know. Update: Looks like it isn’t.
- If you’re not approved, Banco Popular does have a reconsideration number you can now (844-343-1010). Tips for reconsideration calls can be found here.
- There is a report of getting the AF waived second year onwards as a retention offer.
- Last time this was offered they sometimes asked for documents (e.g tax documents) before granting approval
The nice thing about these offers is that there is no minimum spend requirement. It’s also nice that it isn’t issued by one of the major card issuers.
