Backdoor Signup Link for Citi AT&T Access More Credit Card

There was mention a few days back about the AT&T Access More card from Citi not being available for signup at the time. The card is not found alongside the other cards on the Citi website, and all the regular links error out.

The good news is that there is still a publicly available link which goes directly to the application. I found this link through Google search, and I think others have mentioned this (or a similar link) as well.

Direct Link to AT&T Access More

[Update: here’s another link for a more detailed landing page, found by Mia on Flyertalk.]

Another area of confusion was speculation that the card may be switching from 3x for retail & travel purchases to 2x, based on the application redirect that was showing at one point in time. More likely, in my view, that there was a cross-linking between the no-annual-fee AT&T Access card and the $95-annual-fee AT&T Access More card. The former earns 2x while the later gets 3x.

The application link above is still clearly showing the 3x terms, and I’d guess that the lack of a public link for the AT&T Access More card is just temporary.

very interesting.
but at&t will not allow you to purchase expensive phones without contract.
the contract must be at least 2 months ($50/mo is the cheapest plan).
then you have to pay off the complete retail cost of the phone.
any fee to break contract?

$650bonus
-$95annual fee
-$100(2 months of service @$50/mo)
-$694.99(retail cost so samsung s7)
=$239.99 out of pocket

someone, help me out here please. am i calculating this correctly?
does this deal have value only if you already have at&t service or plan to start new at&t service?

thanks!

just curious if anyone knows, w/this backdoor offer (old link) is there a limit of when you can use up your $650 credit towards a new phone?

say I get this card now & meet the min spend within 3mo, but wanna wait until the fall (sept timeframe) to jump on a new phone, would that work in terms of still getting the actual signup bonus a few months down the line?

hate to use this up on a full price retail phone like the iPhone 6S which is already almost a year old now & will be discounted by the summer anyways, rather than just waiting for iPhone 7 etc. but obv dont wanna miss out on the credits either.

Firstly, thanks for creating and maintaining this website. I appreciate that it is unlike the commercial websites only interested in getting referrals and making money.

Now to my question about this card.
Can I get the card on my name and ask my friend to use my card to purchase the phone and add a new line to his account? Then, I just port my number to ATT and don’t have to cancel within 15 days.

How many days does it take to receive the card usually from the day of application assuming it is approved without any hitches?

What would be a qualifying plan that must last at least 15 days in order to fulfill your end to get the bonus?
Terms:
Eligible Phones: Only phones (smartphones or basic/feature phones) purchased from AT&T at full retail price (no annual contract) through the link provided are eligible. You must activate the phone with qualifying AT&T postpaid wireless service (including voice and data as applicable) and keep the phone, and remain active and in good-standing, for at least 15 days. Excludes phones purchased via a 2-year wireless agreement, pre-paid or AT&T Ne…

The link can’t work, the submit button stays grey after I filled all the info.

The submit button doesn’t turn green until you fill out all info and click the checkboxes to agree to terms/etc. I didn’t hit submit (yet), but the submit did switch from gray to green for me.

I don’t know that it’s temporary. The card has been completely removed from Citi’s website other than the direct link you have. This was similar to when the Barclay Sallie Mae card was pulled — at first the direct app still worked, but eventually it was taken down. The Forward also followed a similar path; the direct link worked for a little bit before it was entirely pulled.

My point is that if someone wants this card they should act sooner than later. It could just be website maintenance, but more likely there’s either a change in the terms or a discontinuation coming.

Spot on. Every eventually discontinued card I’ve seen moves along the path of highly advertised and bonused- prominently placed on the site- quiet but present – link only – dead.

Maybe it won’t be discontinued, but it might. Considering the 3x on online retail purchases could be highly exploitable for years to come, I think anyone with even a slight interest should act promptly.
