Our Verdict
I don’t have the fine print on this one I’m not sure if the ‘new customers’ clause is enforced. I’m also unsure if this offer is showing on any of the other banks besides for Bank of America, such as Chase Offers.

DP for the future:
Existing customer prepaid bill early May 2022 after loading this offer on BoFA card. There was no indication that offer was triggered – no email nothing. Just did not have the time to fight it out and forgot about it. Now 75 days later I get an email saying I earned cashback at Xfinity and is now showing pending. Yay!.
Not sure if similar payments on Chase cards made at around the same time will also trigger, but should know soon. At least one out of 3 worked.

Made a one-time payment for Xfinity a few days ago, and it now shows up as “processing” on the BankAmeriDeals page.
Update: the deal didn’t go to pending after it showed as “processing”, and it also disappeared from my available deals page. Unclear if the one-time payment didn’t trigger it, or if the deal got canned.

I made a payment of $49.99 online on an existing account and got a confirmation email from BofA saying the offer was redeemed, but won’t know if it actually worked until 40 days later.
@Chuck
This deal is back. I have this offer on my BoA cash rewards card AND on my Chase Freedom. Same terms and reward as posted above from 2019. I’m an existing Xfinity customer as of June 2020. I have read what has been written about using the same deal on two different cards, and I have also seen that YMMV with using the offer even though I am not a “new customer”. I’m going to try to use the deal anyway on both my cards since I’ll be losing nothing for making the payment that I would have made anyway. I will update once I have more information.
Thanks, got that here: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chase-offers-50-off-for-new-xfinity-customers/
I have this on both BofA and Chase offers expiry 11/14/2019.
Does anyone know if this still triggers cashback for existing customers?
I know back in July-Aug it used to work as reported by some here.
Any existing xfinity internet customer done it in this latest round and got cashback ?
I actually signed up as a new customer but did not get the $50. Called and BOA claims the deal requires a 2-year contract, which was not in the terms. F BOA.
DP:
Made a one-time payment to Xfinity for $49.99 on 6/28
Received $50 cash back credit on 8/7
I was already an existing customer. Since it took a while to receive the credit, the deal moved to the “expired” tab after the end date but moved to the “earned” tab once the cash back got posted.
Cheers,
Charles
Just signed up for a new Xfinity plan using BF $35 cashback portal link and paid w/my BoA CAsh Rewards card. The plan I chose was only $45/mo but I picked the “pay a $100 deposit” option in lieu of a hard credit pull. We’ll see if that satisfies their requirements.
Oddly, I now have 4 different pending charges: $100, $100, $0, and $100 from two different Comcast locations.
Other deals say “new service”, but still work for existing customers. I see one DP below that says it did t work for this one. It did for the “new customer” Cricket Wireless.
Counter DP, I had gotten this a month or two ago and it also said for new service in the terms. Paid $60 ish for my internet bill and got the credit anyway a few weeks later.
