Our Verdict
I got this on my Bank of America card, that usually means it’ll be popping up on Chase Offers as well, and likely other banks who share the same back end. Comes with a 30-day free trial, and you’ll get charged the $69 fee after the trial at which point the $15 offer will be triggered.
Until now I was only marginally aware that business Prime even exists. Taking a quick look, it sounds like it’s basically a toned down version of regular Prime for significantly cheaper. No Prime Video, but does have the same 1 or 2 day shipping benefits, lightning deals, etc., along with some special business perks. Do note: regular Prime members can add a secondary ‘household’ account (and 4 child accounts too) whereas business Prime account at $69 is only for one user.
I’d be interested in hearing if people signup for Prime business simply for the cost savings ($69 vs $119) for someone who isn’t interested in the entertainment benefits. And with this deal the savings will be $15 more.
For Bank Amerideals, does anyone know usually how soon the cashback status changes to pending once the transaction is posted?
I have found that Chase offers have a much better chance of not crediting properly – unlike Amex offers which seem to credit almost all the time.
I’ve gotten all Chase offers myself but have had to contact about Amex offers in the past.
How long are they supposed to take to credit? I’ve had problems too
I’ve noticed that my Amazon business account is much less likely to qualify for promotions than our personal accounts. Sometimes pricing is a smidge better if you are buying things in bulk, but by and large the account seems only as good or sometimes more limited than the personal accounts. I’m not quite sure why you would want one.
Actually curious about this offer, but unfortunately 0/7 on Chase right now.
I believe Amazon manually reviews accounts that apply for business prime – I tried to get it earlier this year and got an email a few days later saying that I’m not eligible.
Yeah, I remember when the popup appeared on my personal account asking me to sign up for Business Prime but in the process it asked you to provide your business information for eligibility confirmation.
It got me excited until I noticed the benefits are the ones that don’t apply to Hawaii.
You do realize nobody lives in Hawaii for the bargains (except maybe Magnum) 😎
I think the $69 version reqires you to have a personal prime in the first place.
“You may only use Business Prime for business, not personal, use.”
I’d like to know how this is enforced, if at all.
I’d assume same way as it is enforced for Business CC expenses (none).
you can be a landlord ebay seller…thats your business.
