Looks expired. Link goes to 404 error.

Denied. Here’s were reasons they said:

  • Overall risk tolerance of Novo and its partner bank
  • We weren’t able to verify your ID
  • There’s missing or incorrect documentation
  • Your business operates in a high risk or restricted industry
  • Based on information from 3rd party

Is this $300 bonus still active? Anyone know $40 referral can stack this $300 bonus?

Nobody knows yet whether the stack will work. There is a space to enter a referral code so you can try.

But the terms say “one bonus per account is permitted” so it’s a gamble. You might get just $40. You might get just $300. You might win and get $340.

I tried it. Opened a month ago so I’ll have a solid DP by May. Hope I don’t regret it, lol.

Thanks!

Did send a message to customer service to confirm $300 bonus promo code applied to your account?

You MUST have an EIN to do this SUB. If you enter your SSN as the EIN it will allow it – until you get to the very last page to submit where it says your EIN can’t be the same as you SSN.

Same, I have a legit sole proprietorship that I’ve been reporting on schedule C for years using my SSN, and that’s not good enough for Novo. I contacted their support and they just repeated the same. Whatever, I don’t like fintechs anyway.

Is it just me or is transferring money into this account painfully slow? I’ve done several pulls into this account starting a week ago and they are still pending. But when I deposited a check it only took a 2 business days to clear.

RY The general best practice is to push into a new account. Initiating the transfer from an external bank account where the account is established, the funds are already verified and available will result in funds available sooner at the new account.

I pulled from a biz account with the same EIN and it credited in 2 biz days. Of course it’s still painfully slow due to the $1250/day limit.

It is better to push the funds in, unless you are transferring from Chase. Pushed funds credited in 1-2 biz days.

I would not cut the 30-day grace period for funding too close with this fintech. They seem shady.

Figured out how to check our application status.

Go to https://onboarding.novo.co/status.

Applied on 01/13/2025 and was denied.

Anyone know if the Google CLoud perks are still offered? Looks like their “Integrations” page is now generic and doesn’t specify what perks there are
