Our Verdict
Not as good as the 75,000 mile offer. Bank of America business cards don’t report to your personal credit report, great for those usesful for staying under 5/24 Chase. We will add this to our best credit card bonuses page.

6/24. personal checking with BOA. App went pending.
Recon is real pain in the ass. Must have called 10 different numbers. Wound up calling support for personal cards and after 6 transfers found the right person. Requested that I upload tax returns – approved 3 weeks after applying.
What is BOA recon line phone number or to check application status over the phone?
The online tracker keeps saying that it doesn’t match my information entered on application
app pending -> call the rep and they said decline due to many personal cc which i am on 3/24, they also said Alaska is pretty strict (0/12 should work).
I only have Cash Reward cc with them for 10 years and in my draw.
Wish I could cancel relationship w them but this cc has the longest time opening :/
Interesting. I thought I read somewhere if you have a banking relationship with BOA, that can override the rules or allow one to be up to 7/24 and still get approved.
I opened this card on Jan. 23, 2024 with 75K bonus. Can I apply for this one and still get bonus? TIA.
Denied as well for this card. 3/24 with 1 inquiry in the last 24 months at Transunion. Have my longest standing credit card with BofA, but no checking account relationship. Last time I was approved for this card was back in August 2022, and closed the card in May 2023.
Update: called recon and they said I had too many newly opened lines of credit. At 3/24, I find that hard to believe. Asked to be reconsidered but the rep said that wouldn’t be possible. Try again in a few months.

Denied again, haven’t been approved for a boa biz card since 12/2022. At 2022, I had 4 different biz boa accounts. Closed one in 2023, still couldn’t get approved. Now that it’s 2025, I thought I had a better chance but guess not. Ended up closing all 3 biz cards I have left on my boa account. For reference, the other 3 were cash back related biz cards.
Guess I’ll head my way to the personal cards.
denied even though i have checking and savings (salary account) with them for last 15 years. Have 820+ Credit rating… 2 personal cards in last 1 year and 3 business cards… Only thing I can think of is that I did use an offer on my BOFA credit card for 0 % last year and that is still due(7.5K pending) and it will expire this june. Maybe that was the reason as I already have due credit with them.
I can never get approved for any BoA biz card… no clue why. They approve me for any personal card with huge credit lines… but never a biz card. 🙁

Yes, BofA is known to favor banking relationship (5k+ in funds)
I do have a checking account with boa, but still got denied for this biz card, called the reconsideration line, told me that I had too many inquiries in last 12 months (I applied the personal Alaska card in November).
Are you supposed to receive an email after approval? I applied and was approved yesterday but haven’t received confirmation via email. Only confirmation was when I hit submit.
I didn’t receive email after pending app or approval overnight. I only noticed through logging in BofA
