Update 11/30/19: People who received the letter talking about a $100 statement credit should now have received that $100 credit (check your accounts). I’m unsure if people who apply now will receive the letter (and the $100 statement credit) or not. Hat tip to aksurvivorfan

Our Verdict
Interestingly after applying some people are being sent a letter offering a $100 statement credit after $500 in spend as well. This makes it more similar to the personal bonus offering 40,000 miles & $100. Previous best offer on this card has been 40,000 miles or 30,000 miles + $100. One nice thing about Bank of America business cards is that they do not report to your personal credit report, this is useful for anybody trying to stay under the Chase 5/24 rule.
I will add this to our list of the best business credit card bonuses. If you have any questions about Bank of America/this bonus I’d recommend reading this post before asking them in the comments below.
I opened this credit card and did not realize the purchases need to post within 90 days, I had a transaction that posted on the 91st day after my account opening date. Anyone ever had this issue and was it easy to get rep to reinstate missing bonus miles for this
Data point about what appears to be new BOA buz cards rule: got a mailer to open buz card (had one before and closed in 2018). Online application didn’t want to take SSN saying that it is in use already (also have personal card). Called and was told that EIN is mandatory now for all buz cards.
Any working links for the 42k still?
The “direct link to offer” is missing.
Has anyone recently gotten approved for this w/o needing to submit docs and w/o having a BofA biz banking relationship?
I’m 6/24 rn, and I’ve had a BofA checking+savings (both non-biz) and BBR card for like 3 years, got Alaska personal back in July, also tried for this card in July but wasn’t instantly approved – they mailed a letter that asked me to open a biz CD for a secured card instead. Didn’t want to do a biz CD, so just forgot about it.
Wondering if I might get approved without needing to send biz docs/open biz CD if I applied now after like 6 ish months w/o a new card?
No link? Is this dead?
Link seems to be broken.
Added a new link
Hi Will, the current link looks like it lands on the personal Alaska page. Are there any links left for the 42k + $100 SC Business version?
Not that I know of, sorry
I’m getting error for adding None into the employee event id field
(1) Does 2/3/4 rule apply to business credit card applications as well?
(2) Do BofA business credit cards count towards 2/3/4 rule for business and/or personal credit card applications?
(3) Does 24 month waiting period apply to business credit cards? Is it possible to get welcome bonus on business credit card with a new application if same type of business credit card is still opened or was just recently closed?
Please advise. Thank you.
$100 statement credit received about 2 months after opening (and/or 2 weeks after meeting spending requirement).
