Our Verdict
Quill.com sells office supplies, but also sells $200 and $300 Visa gift cards. The $300 card has a $9.95 fee, and should be an easy moneymaker except for the fact that gift cards are excluded in the terms. It has tracked OK in the past, but I doubt it will this time.
Hat tip to GC Galore
Stacks nicely with targeted bump of 3% for some on biz cards, so essentially 6% cashback on office supplies + 15% from this deal (if it tracks)
Bad vendor. Prices are likely to be more than 15% higher than OD/Max. Have had bad ordering experiences including not honoring discounts/rebates etc. from Quill.
Have not had an issue with them, other than the periodic phone call/email every other month. I always ordered the Visa card and all their penny items to donate.

The Quill $300 VGC has a $9.95 fee now
Has been that high for about 6-9 months now.
This looks like a different offer than a “standard” Chase offer for Quill. It looks like an affiliate link since you have to click through the link there. So it works like a cashback site, and a lot of those filter out gift cards.
Quill worked with gift cards back when the offer was on Chase cards, but it didn’t require using a specific link. Guessing BofA will have more visibility into the purchase if it’s made through the link, and it wouldn’t track. Another consideration is that Quill purchases, at least in the past, took a lot of time to post, and this deal is only good for a week.
