Our Verdict
Now that we know it’s a soft pull to open and you can’t fund with a credit card, I’ve added it to our best bank bonus page as I think it’s a good offer. The requirements are a bit tricky but at least you can get some of the bonus without the direct deposit requirement and that’s always a plus.

Can anyone comment on closing this account? I am planning to ACH everything out and then send a message to them. They have an option for closing the account in the message section.
My transfers from capital one 360 savings did not count for direct debit
The household limit was enforced for my wife and I. I got the bonuses, she was refused the bonuses and CS stated she was not eligible due to one per household limit.
Late data point, I unknowingly signed up for the bonus on 6/5/17 and completed all my transactions necessary for the bonus. To my surprise the bonus was credited to my account couple days ago.
For the Bill Pay, does it have to be two consecutive months or can it just be 3 set up in a two month period? How would you spread it out? Does anyone know if setting up a person to person bill pay triggers? I’ve had this work before. Lastly, if anyone has Capitol one 360 has anyone gotten the DD bonus by setting up an ACH under the same guidelines. Need tips.
Lake Michigan Credit Union ( LMCU ) shows up on their bill pay and you can basically fund that account through bill pay. I did not personally do this, and I think it would be wise to put a normal bill or two paid anyway.

Apparently My Banking Direct closed out my account on their own since it’s been at a 0 balance for the past 3 months. They didn’t seem to charge me anything though.
Whatever, they did the work for me, I already got the bonus!
I just noticed the same. I kind of love it that banks do this, saves me the hassle.
